had R.I.C.E. cip thing today :D
went door-to-door at toh guan area to give out flyers to advertise for the project happening next weekend :)
was divided into five major groups. mine was area four.
paired up with siva. nice knowing her:]
we had a leader. but idk what's his name. he's from vietnam, really friendly and helpful. had great fun tgt with them today :D
each group covered ten blocks. it was pretty okay. had the stamina from all the hikes i've been to.
met really nice residents, while some nasty ones though. and some wasn't even willing to open the door. oh well.
had some problems trying to bring across the message to the residents living there as i'm the only one in my subgroup who knows chinese.
plus, my chinese is cmi and it sucks totally ._.
especially when it has got to do with communication.
but somehow managed to pull it though and it was afterall, a really good experience :)
and i came up with something after that.
COMMUNICATIONAL LANGUAGES ARE VERY IMPORTANT.
and i really mean it. LOL.

hope that the project would be a success next week. im really hoping forward to it :D
